black jack is a game that somehow reminds me of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you grow your bankroll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a rollercoaster the similarities are bizarre. As with the popular amusement ride, your black jack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for a while before it bottoms out yet again. Of course you have to be a blackjack player who can adjust well to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is choked full of them.

If you like the petite coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a fatter wager, then hop on board for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster wild ride because they are not considering the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you do not, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the view while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride and your head in the clouds. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will naturally remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
