I have played countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
