I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of money at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager

If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
