I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
