Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a crazy ride. It’s a game that starts slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your profit, you feel as though you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls.
Blackjack is so remarkably like a crazy ride the similarities are unreal. As with the popular fair ground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out once again. You most certainly have to be a bettor who is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is full of them.
If you like the small coaster, one that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a fatter wager, then hop on for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to flip and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not naturally recall how much you enjoyed the view while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride and your head in the clouds. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will recall that mortifying drop as clear as day.
